This one’s for the Men.
We all celebrate Womens’ Day each year. We cherish the wonder that is each woman. Our mom who raises us to be a beautiful human being. Our girlfriend who gives us the joy of companionship and love. Our wife who is with us through thick and thin. Our sister who knows just when to push our buttons and also how to make things right. Our daughter who is the biggest bundle of joy. Every woman is a unique person: a work of art. Every woman has her own quirks and way of doing things. And we love to pamper and applaud the spirit that is in each mother, girlfriend, wife, sister and daughter.
Have you ever wondered: what about the men? Why don’t we celebrate men? Men are portrayed as male chauvinists, heartbreakers, cheaters and lascivious pigs in most of today’s social media. All men are the same. That is what is the common opinion. They are immature, unthoughtful, uncaring, easily bored, irascible and utterly impatient humans. Life is so hard for us women isn’t it? Why can’t men appreciate us more often? Why don’t they remember every anniversary since we started going out? Is it so hard to note the important stuff down?!
Calm down ladies! There is always a fresh perspective to every story.
Let’s begin with your Dad. He is the sweetest man in your life undoubtedly. He has always made sure that you had everything you ever wanted. Right from kindergarten till the day he gets you married; and even beyond. He is always worried about your happiness.
Your boyfriend forgot your 3 month anniversary? That sucks right? Well you should talk to him. Maybe he had other stuff on his mind. All he wants is for you to end up with him. So that he can pamper you to no end later.
Your brother hasn’t called in ages. That is so unthoughtful of him. He could be in his own stresses; that he doesn’t wish to burden you with. He just wants to see you smile always.
Your husband and you had a moment this morning. He didn’t talk that much and left for work. And now you are worried and mad at him. He was just a bit tensed about a big client meeting. Because he wants to gift you something special from the advance he gets from this client. He cares too much about you to ever ignore you! You are his love and his life and he really appreciates you.
